Top of the mornin’ to ye

Simply means - A very good morning to you.

Saint Patrick's Day (Irish: Lá Fhéile Pádraig) is a religious holiday celebrated internationally on 17 March. It commemorates Saint Patrick (c. AD 387–461), the most commonly recognized of the patron saints of Ireland, and the arrival of Christianity in Ireland.
Saint Patrick's Day was made an official feast day in the early 17th century, and has gradually become a secular celebration of Irish culture in general.

The Travel Group have an irish gal of our very own, and of course we celebrated the day wearing green and shamrocks !

Office Yoga

Every Thursday at The Travel Group Marie, a former Travel Group agent, comes into the office to help us release the stress of the week with a yoga class.

In the course of 25 years in the travel industry, Marie visited many places and came into contact with numerous cultures and philosophies. Her exposure to these varied cultures and belief systems, as well as her growing passion for alternative modes of healing, led her over time to the practice of yoga, and in turn to the exploration of various approaches to healing, wellness and spirituality.

Snow Shoe Nights

On our weekly snow shoe night we are sometimes in the group where Brett is the guide. He loves what he does and you can tell in the knowledge and excitement that he projects.

Last night we had some amazing fluffy fresh snow and were bouncing around the Blue Grouse Lake Loop were we passed by a Long House.

Built in 1997 deep in the alpine forest is the híwus feasthouse. It was build to offer visitors native dining, culture and entertainment. It is a traditional aboriginal cedar longhouse complete with intricate carvings, and totem pole entranceway.
